A figure or a rule changed
Send the address of the official text that shows the change: the IRS revenue procedure, notice or form, the state tax department page or the enacted law. We read it, update the data file, and the new reading date appears on every page that uses it.
What we cannot do
We are not the IRS or a state agency. We cannot look up a refund, review your return, tell you whether a child qualifies in your case or answer an IRS letter for you. For your own return, the IRS EITC Assistant, IRS Free File, the free VITA sites and the Taxpayer Advocate Service are listed on the claiming page.
